Responsibilities


• Plan and conduct user research and competitor analysis
• Interpret data and qualitative feedback
• Create user stories, personas
• Determine information architecture and create sitemaps
• Create prototypes and wireframes
• Conduct usability testing
• Combine UX thinking with design execution, to produce intuitive user interfaces
• Plan and run user tests and other design research activities
• Collaborate with the rest of the design team ensuring visual cohesion and engineering efficiency across all user touchpoints
• Communicate design solutions to engineers and stakeholders
• Design and prototype elegant solutions for web and mobile apps
• Work within brand guidelines to create layouts that reinforce a brand’s style.

Requiremed Qualifications


• A degree related to the field
• Minimum of 3 years experience
• Strong portfolio of design projects
• Proficient in Sketch, inVision, Zepplin
• Proficient in user research, interviews, and usability testing
• Problem-solving and analytical skills
• An understanding of design patterns
• Excellent attention to detail

Optional Qualifications


• Understanding of HTML and CSS.
• Understanding of the construction industry

Role


BenchMarx is in search of motivated individuals ready to seize an opportunity to join our high-performing team. The Sales intern is responsible for identifying and qualifying new leads, product demonstrations and closing net new business. Gaining a strong familiarity with our programs and products will be key to success in this role.

Responsibilities


• Understand and promote company programs
• Generate leads
• Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
• Coordinate sales efforts with existing marketing CRM
• Create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs
• Prepare weekly and monthly reports
• An understanding of design patterns
• Work well with other team members

Qualifications


• Women studying in STEM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics) or relevant business/commerce program
• Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or a protected person
• Currently enrolled in a publicly funded post-secondary educational institution
• Able to commit to a 4-month work term
• Communicate effectively in English
•Friendly, personable,approachable personality
•Strong understanding of technology and mobile app solutions
•Ability to work in a fast-paced and high energy environment
•Marketing experience and familiarity with construction are a plus
